Men's curling goes 3-1 in round robin, falls in quarter-finals at OUA Championship

The Warriors men's curling team competed at the 2023 OUA Championship in Peterborough this past weekend. Waterloo got off to a hot start winning their first match 7-5 over TMU Bold before outlasting the host Trent Excalibur in a hard fought 7-6 victory to go 2-0. On Saturday, Waterloo earned a big 8-2 win over the Windsor Lancers to improve to 3-0 but then fell in their final round robin match to Ontario Tech by a score of 8-6.

In the quarter-finals, Waterloo couldn't find their game against a very tough Brock Badgers squad who took the match 7-0 to eliminate the black and gold.

With a young squad Waterloo will continue to improve and come back ready to battle for a title once again next season.

A huge congratulations to Hudon Kennedy on being named an OUA first-team all-star and head coach Bridget Arnold the OUA men's curling coach of the year.
